David Beidel
Rev. David Beidel has lived in Staten Island, New York, for most of his life. In 1990, he and his wife, Rebecca, started a church in their home in New Brighton, a crime-ridden community in Staten Island. Twenty-five years later, New Hope Community Church and Urban Hope NYC are a beacon of hope, and a healing sanctuary among the West Brighton housing projects and on the North Shore of Staten Island, where David and Rebecca continue to serve the community faithfully. The "Saturate Initiate" seeks to be faithful to Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth."

Tim Meier
Tim Meier received his Doctorate of Ministries from Alliance Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Rachel, have previously served in youth and worship ministry at Mendham Hills Community Church in New Jersey and as international workers with the C&MA in France. Tim has led Envision (Alliance Missions) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for five years before his appointment as the vice president for Development.

Tim greatly desires to see the Church energized and engaged in mission, discipleship, and the intentional pursuit of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power. He has a great passion for The Alliance to be evidence in this world that Jesus is alive and active. Tim loves to play with his two boys, eat sushi, watch Cleveland sports, and run on the beautiful Colorado trails.

Al Stombaugh
Al Stombaugh serves in the role of AVP for International Ministries for the C&MA in Colorado Springs, CO.

Both Al and Lauralyn grew up in Africa where their parents served with the C&MA in Gabon and Côte d’Ivoire. They first met at MK boarding school when Al was 10 and Lauralyn was 5 years old. Thirteen years later the Lord brought them back together at Toccoa Falls College. Following graduate studies at Columbia Bible College and Seminary the Stombaughs served on staff at the Marietta Alliance Church in Marietta, GA from 1989-1993. They were then assigned to Gabon as International Workers with the C&MA and during their 14 years in Gabon they served in church-planting, theological education, literature ministries and field leadership. They then served in Mali, West Africa as the leadership couple from 2009-2013 and then in Senegal as the Regional Leadership couple for the Africa Region from 2013-2017.

Al and Lauralyn have three children. Joshua (and wife Miranda) live in Fort Worth, TX where Josh is an engineer and Miranda is a nurse. Their second daughter Kayla is a nurse living and working in north Georgia. And finally, Alexis their 11-year-old daughter is in the 5th grade.
